Our Grads

In three short years of operation, we have helped OTE grads go on to play Major Midget, Jr. B, Jr A, and to be drafted to the WHL. We have helped young athletes earn scholarships to both NCAA Div 1 and CIS universities. Of note, Jagger Williamson is headed to Michigan Tech and Jenna Fletcher is committed to UBC. Both for the fall of 2017.  Stay tuned there is more to come !!!

School District 22
Ideally, students should be enrolled in a secondary SD22 area school. OTE will run during the A&B block schedule, which alternates between morning and afternoons every other week during September-January. For exceptions (eg: Home School applicants or the Christian School), please contact Sam Mowat to discuss requirements.

Students are expected to effectively manage their academic requirements along with their hockey skills development. This program is designed to be more challenging than a regular PE curriculum to help student/athletes better prepare for the next level of their hockey careers.

International/Out-of-Province Students are Welcome!
At ON THE EDGE, we welcome both international and out-of-province students. Students would be enrolled in a local public school where their A&B blocks will take place at OTE for the first semester while their other blocks will occur back at the public school.

Options for School District 22 attendance can be explored at the
Vernon International Student Program. For out-of-province students, contact School District 22.

Mid-Day Transportation
To make your life easier, mid-day transportation bussing is available for OTE students attending Kal, Fulton, Seaton, and VSS. During those weeks when OTE occurs during the morning blocks, parents drop students off at 8:30 am. A bus will return students from the PV Arena to their enrolled high school for afternoon classes. During weeks when OTE occurs during the afternoon, the bus transports students during their lunch hour from their school to the PV Arena. Parents pick their students up at the arena at 3:00 p.m. A full bussing schedule will be provided to OTE families.
